My dear friend, Ruth Stromswold, shared this lovely prayer with me today. It's from "The Valley Of Vision"... A bit about contentment and plenty, and having a thankful heart for all that is.
Morning Needs
O God, the author of all good,
prosper me in all lawful undertakings,
or prepare me for disappointments.
Give me neither poverty nor riches.
Feed me with food convenient for me
lest I be full and deny Thee and say,
Who is the Lord?
Or be poor, and steal, and take
Thy name in vain."
